Star is a 2006 bay filly that I purchased from Kate Carter of Starlight Stables. She heard I was in the market for some well bred Quarter horses that did the working western events. She called me up and told me she had a couple of young horses for sale. So I drove out to see her stock. She showed me Star first and I fell in love with the little filly. She has such a huge personality to her and is just so funny to watch. She has a good clean shoulder on her and a nice big hip which she seems to move off of on her own quite nicely. Star's sire is SS North Star also owned by Kate Carter and that was a bonus as I just bred one of my mares to him. So to see this filly that is by the stud I have a foal on the way I am so far very impressed. We have big hopes for Star when she gets older. But for now we are just going to show halter and work on ground manners.
